Strictly come table dancing

'Ah, no!' Cyril sighed. 'See, you tiddled when you should have winked.' The croupier looked decidedly nervous. 'Fluffy forfeit?' Annie mooed. 'Indeed!' Cyril agreed. 'Let's see.....I think you're going to owe us a great big pile of chips.' 'With bread and butter?' Annie asked. 'You can't have chips without,' Cyril said. The croupier looked extra more nervous. Annie waved her tail. 'Princess Annie?' Cyril smiled. 'Permission to dance?' Annie sang. 'I doubt there's ever been a better time,' Cyril replied. So Annie climbed onto the table and did a most dainty dance and everyone applauded...and then Cyril got onto the table and they danced together and everyone applauded some more. 'Sorry about the table,' Cyril said when they had finished. 'Do you have another?' And the visibly shaken croupier pointed towards another table. 'That'll do!...

Chips with everything!

'Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!' Annie mooed. 'Couldn't have put it better myself,' Cyril said. 'Now, would you like some chips?' 'Yes, please!' Annie replied. '.............Wiv salt and vinegar.' 'Two lots of chips please,' Cyril asked the cashier. 'One with salt and vinegar, one with mayonnaise...shaken not stirred.'  'And a wally!' Annie added. 'He's behind you,' Cyril replied. 'WHAT!!!!' Captain Bill mooed. 'Who are you again?' Annie asked. 'I'm leaving!' Captain Bill announced. 'Pleased to meet you,' Annie said. 'I meant I'm going,' Captain Bill replied. 'Oh, do stay,' Annie continued, 'we've only just met.' 'Yes, you must stay,' Cyril agreed and he took Captain Bill by his knitted compass and dragged him toward the nearest gaming table. 'Afternoon,' he announced to the cro...

Pirate sheep in bow ties

'I say old chap, things in our frightfully wonderful new casino do seem to be...,' Flossie paused, '..is it really World Don't Talk Like A Pirate Day?' he asked. 'It is indeed old boy,' Lefty replied. 'Then it would be churlish of me not to join in. Do please inform me of how things are progressing, Lefty, old thing.' 'I'm terribly pleased to report that everything is tip top and super,' Lefty bleated. 'Our dear little casino is proving to be the hit of the whole enterprise.' 'Top 'ole and no mistake,' Flossie replied. 'I expect that the profit from here could be buying us a new ship in next to no time.' 'Splendid! Would it be amiss of me to ask for confirmation that our security arrangements are just as first class as always?' 'Happy to do so, my dear,' Lefty replied. 'It's all very discrete of course but there are cameras inside and guards on continuous patrol around t...

Ahhhhhh! Lambs!

'Ah!' Flossie sighed. 'Is there any prettier sight than watching young lambs gambling in a field?' 'Thought you'd approve,' Lefty replied, 'and we do need to test the equipment.' 'It's a grand idea,' said Flossie. 'Parents alright about it? I'm sure you must have checked.' 'Did indeed,' Lefty bleated. 'Harriet was a little concerned at first.' 'Reason?' Flossie asked. 'Well, it's not particularly piratey.' 'True!' Flossie replied. 'And she was worried about cheating, but I assured her that it was allowed.' 'Start 'em young if you want them to become despicable, that's my motto,' said Flossie. 'Is it? Lefty asked. 'Not really,' said Flossie. 'I've never been big on mottoes.' Hookey tapped on the soft warm grass. 'True!' Flossie replied, 'very true! Now, fiendish scheme update if you please.'  ...

Gambling!!!

'On course spread betting?!?' mooed Captain Bill. 'Yep!' replied Cyril. 'At a children's athletics competition?' 'Well people have to make a living,' said Cyril. 'Is it legal?' asked Captain Bill. It is at this one,' replied Cyril,'that's why it's so popular. Big money to be made if you get the right result. Particularly now that the favorites have failed to show.' 'You mean Ms Camille and her little students?' asked Norma. 'That's right,' replied Cyril,'the chap I spoke to said they were heavily fancied in several of the individual events AND for the team trophy.' 'Which means we're undoubtedly looking at a highly complex conspiracy!' said Bertha. 'Unless they just got on the wrong balloon.' suggested Captain Bill. Everyone looked at Captain Bill. 'You're all going to look awfully foolish if I'm right!' he added. Everyone agreed that they were wi...
